Meg Blackburn, founder of Blackburn Creative, has more than twenty years of strategic communications and marketing experience applied in diverse environments including world-renowned museums (MoMA, the MFA Boston, the New Museum), a global PR agency (FITZ & CO), a tech company (MUZE, Inc.), and publishers of magazines (Fairchild Publications) and books (Simon & Schuster).

At The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Meg led PR campaigns for high-profile art, film, architecture, and design exhibitions, as well as major fundraising events. At the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she focused on the opening of the Foster + Partners-designed Art of the Americas wing. She also worked in public relations at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. She launched her career working in publicity at Simon & Schuster. She holds a BA from Hamilton College.

For eight years, Meg worked at FITZ & CO, a PR & Marketing agency for the global art world, where she led campaigns for a wide range of clients, including the Brooklyn Museum, Dartmouth College | Hood Museum of Art, Detroit Institute of Arts, Hamilton College | Wellin Museum of Art, Judd Foundation, MacDowell Colony, New York Botanical Garden, San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), Seattle Art Fair, Storm King Art Center, UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA), and many others.
